Explanation first: OPB was supposed to premiere yesterday. Oops! Instead, my computer broke, my ability to scan/process comics disappeared, and everything was backed up a week. The comic will instead premiere next Monday, the 20th.
Sorry! Moving right along with the whole character preview thing, here are some of the other Pamplemousse staff: ( Read more... )
Hey guys - if you have ordered a print and HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT, please send me a message via Ebay. I've had a bunch of mail returned to me with...marvelously illegible labels, and I'm trying to sort the things out. Thank you!
So June piled a lot of stuff on me and I could use a vacation. Once again don't worry about you guys will get your comic. Sorcery 101 is the one thing I don't need a break from. But I'm not sure about the funds situation. So I'm putting the Sorcery 101 Tshirts on sale to raise money. And while they aren't on sale anyone thinking about buy an original page I'd appreciate if you did it now. I also have a print set for sale. 5 prints for $10

It's Sunday and I am carefully watching the visitor count at the very bottom of this page. I am going to try to be your quarter billionth visitor!

It was 2:16 AM in NJ when I was on - and so were 614 others. It finally shook that feeling that was keeping me awake. The feeling of being alone.

I live in Tennessee, so I have taken countless childhood field trips to the falls. Now that I look back on it, a giant underground waterfall probably ISN'T the safest environment for children. :)

One of my fondest childhood memories was a trip to Chattanooga with my family when I was eight. I was so shy back then, but the friendly tour guides at Ruby Falls were so nice to me and seemed to enjoy talking to everyone that they inspired me to break out of my shell. When I got home from the trip I made my very first friends at school. Thanks for that.

My memories working at 31 Flavors involve dry ice bombs in the parking lot. But I really hope people mail more "secret acts of kindness" like yours.

Thank you for opening my mind to the fact that those people in my own life deserve thanks! I'll be making a few phone calls tonight.

I'm supposed to be prepping for pirateness and generally slacking off.
I've gotten NOTHING done today.
I was going to install Master Collection CS4 to get back to painting, but got an error. Windows vista SP1 is required.
Spent the next few hours trying to get SP1 to install.
Gave up, found a manual download finally and that would take a long time.
While waiting, I decided to call Clear. I was supposed to get a refund because those dick heads charged me for service I wasn't using and had tried 3 times to cancel.
Come to find out the person who set up the return finally didn't tell me that my equipment had to be received within 7 days or I didn't get a refund.
....wut?
Canceled account on Tuesday, June 23rd. I got my return slip on Wednesday, June 24th. I got it to the post office on Monday, June, 28th. Bill date was the 25th. They got the equipment in July 2nd.
When I didn't see a refund, I called. And they had to "research" the issue and escalate it to the finance department. It's $24.99 you ass munches! Are you that fucking cheap? It's not like I waited until halfway through the month to cancel! Or that I used the service after the automatic payment! It's been gathering dust for 2 months because I had to settle something else that got fucked up on the account before I could cancel!
Bah.
Going to get some coffee and write about a demon trying to mess with an angels head. That'll make me feel better.
Saturday. Plunderathon. Those in Portland: Who's in?
For those I haven't talked to about it, Plunderathon is a yearly event in Portland. People dress up like pirates. There's random bars. Games. A lot of roaming around. Think...the most bizzare parade you've ever seen with no designated route. And all pirates.
Saturday, July 11th. Noon at Skidmore Fountain. Then it moves. Lasts approximately 12 hours.
I'm planning on cutting out around 6ish. 12 hours was WAY too much for me last year.
Can't make it at noon? Just text me and I'll tell you where we've gotten to.
